Colorist is an interactive coloring app developed by Nika Entertainment with the goal of assisting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their tutors worldwide. This app is the result of extensive research and collaboration with Centers for Autism Treatment, professional scientists, and pediatricians around the globe. Drawing from various cognitive behavioral therapy approaches and findings, Colorist has been designed not only to be enjoyable but also as a powerful therapeutic tool.
Functionally, Colorist is a coloring app that offers thousands of updated artworks on a daily basis, providing a "live image" experience where the image comes to life and animates. How does it benefit children and tutors? To begin with, it helps children quickly focus and relax before their lessons, providing a comfortable and playful atmosphere.
Here are just a few of the effects that therapists and tutors working with children with ASD can achieve using Colorist:
